When a child tries and, as a result, achieves what he wants, he becomes more INDEPENDENT and CONFIDENT, because he can be proud of himself: “I could, although it was not at all easy!”
Gradually he learns to foresee the results of his efforts – “I will be able to paint a beautiful picture” – and also anticipate the pleasure they will give him, – “In the evening I will show it to my mother, and she will really like it.”
☝️So the result – the joy and pride on the mother’s face – is worth the effort, and it inspires optimism and encourages creativity!
